West Ham beat Everton

Liverpool, 2 January (IANS). A decisive goal by Tomás Sassek helped West Ham United beat Everton 1-0 in the English Premier League (EPL) match played at Edison Park here.

According to the BBC report, Sasseq scored the only goal for West Ham in the 86th minute.

West Ham coach David Moyes left the Everton club in 2013 after taking over for nearly 11 years. Everton had previously hosted West Ham four times, and West Ham did not win one of them.

But now West Ham coach Moyes says that winning at Everton for the first time since leaving the club is very special.

Everton’s team had won four matches before in the league, but the team had to face defeat. The team has scored only two goals in the last five matches. This is West Ham’s second consecutive clean sheet.

After this win, West Ham’s team is at number 10 with 26 points from 17 matches while Everton are at number four.
