STF is investigating
According to the Additional Chief Secretary, a letter has been written to the Director of the Government Forensic Science Laboratory for making the forensic report available soon and the STF has also recommended to investigate the entire case, while the Basic Education Department has also taken up the matter.
In the letter sent to STF, there is a serious issue of passing money in viral audio, in this case, along with the ongoing investigation in the recruitment examination, the audio involved in this case should also be investigated. The entire matter was taken up with great priority, in which Additional Chief Secretary Basic Education Renuka Kumar ordered a forensic examination of the audio, but due to the lock-down, the forensic report could not be obtained and the STF investigation in the matter was decided.
20 lakhs per student was being asked for money
On 29th February, WhatsApp audio went viral to pass the examination of the student leaders who were protesting for teacher recruitment. In the audio, students were demanding Rs 20 lakh for passing the BTC student’s English and Maths subjects. In which the BTC student leaders were giving full guarantee to the candidates to pass the exam in the last semester of BTC by making a lump-sum with the officials of the exam regulatory authority, Prayagraj (PNP).
It is alleged that earlier also the officers and staff of PNP Prayagraj had a breakup with 68500 marks in teacher recruitment, in which PNP Secretary Sutta Singh was removed from the post.
Taking the whole matter seriously, the Additional Chief Secretary Basic Education Officer had set up an inquiry on the matter, he had sent the voice to the forensic lab for investigation, but could not get the report due to the lock-down, due to which, it was still on The action has stopped.
