Let us tell you that on 29 October, the Secondary Education Services Selection Board, Prayagraj had issued a notification of 15508 vacancies for TGT and PGT teachers. It had 12913 posts of trained graduate teachers (TGT) and 2595 posts of spokesperson (PGT). The last date of application was set to 27 November.

For the first time in the recruitment, provision of 10 percent reservation was also made to the candidates of Economically Weaker (EWS) category. Citing the order of the Supreme Court of August 28 in the case of Sanjay Singh, the Advocate General had given his legal opinion on November 13 that two different criteria for awarding marks for ad hoc teachers and fresh candidates in the same written examination of the same cadre. Cannot be adopted In this context, the advertisement issued by the Selection Board on October 29 is contrary to the directions of the Supreme Court. If selected according to this advertisement, it will be in contempt of Supreme Court order.
