Amre was the Talent Scout Head of Delhi from 2014 to 2019.
Amre, 52, said in a statement, “I am thankful to the Delhi Capitals management, who added me to the board.” The team had stepped into the final of IPL-2020. This is a great time to be back in the team. He is ready to work with Ricky Ponting and the rest of the players once again.
Amre has played 11 Tests and 37 ODIs for India. He coached Mumbai in domestic cricket and won the Ranji Trophy title three times. He has worked privately with several Indian players.
Delhi reached the final of IPL this time. He made his finals debut for the first time in IPL history.
