At the same time, Leon played a 2–2 draw at Rennes.

According to the news agency Xinhua, PSG played a draw match in the first match with Pochettino’s club, but the team improved by winning the match played on Saturday.

A goal by Moise Keane in the 16th minute gave PSG the lead. Then in the last 10 minutes Mauro Icardi and Pablo Sarabia scored goals to ensure the team’s victory.

After the match, Pochettino said, “We have only a short time working together and we have played two very competitive matches.”

He said, I am very happy with the efforts made by the players. It was a better performance and a crucial win.

With this victory, PSG have narrowed the gap with Lyon. There is now a difference of just one point between the two teams.

Leon was moving towards defeat against Rennes. Rennes was pushed 2–0 ahead by Clement Greeniere and Benjamin Baurigeaud. Leon drew the match, returning in the last minutes of the match.
