The Pakistani army said in its statement that seven soldiers were killed in the attack on the Sharig post of the Frontier Corps located in Harnai, Balochistan. Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has blamed India for the attack to hide his failure after the attack. He tweeted that, ‘I was very sorry to know about the martyrdom of 7 soldiers in the terror attack on the Frontier Corps post late at night. My heartfelt condolences and prayers are to their families. Our country is with our brave soldiers who face the attacks of Indian terrorists. ‘
This third attack after May
The Baloch rebels attacked a military convoy in Panjgur district a few months ago. Three soldiers were killed in this attack and 8 people, including an army colonel, were injured. According to Pakistani media reports, this was the third attack on an army convoy since May.
China opposes Pakistan Economic Corridor
The people of Balochistan have always opposed the Economic Corridor of China Pakistan. Chinese civilians working in Pakistan have been targeted several times over armed rebels of the Balochistan Liberation Army. In the year 2018, the organization was also accused of assaulting the Chinese Consulate in Karachi. The allegation was that Pakistan took a decision related to CPEC without talking to Baloch leaders.
Special force also failed
Pakistan has formed a special force comprising 13700 special commandos to protect the project costing US $ 60 billion, despite which the attacks on these Chinese civilians are increasing.
