Mumbai City FC continued with a great start to the season under the supervision of Sergio Lobera. Lobera, however, believes that the 12-day break has spoiled his team’s momentum but he will try to keep it up.
ATKMB had secured the top spot in the table with the previous match. He had beaten Mumbai and now Mumbai has the chance to beat Kerala and reach the top again.
Coach Lobera said before the match, a two-week break without competitive matches is too long. Assess the current time, if you are in good mood then this break is not good. One should keep playing but if you look at it the other way, then it is always good to spend more and more time on training.
Lobera further said, a long break can make it difficult but if your team is good then this break is also good. As far as I am concerned, if I am given a choice, I would not like to take a long break.
Lobera has been invincible against Kerala in the last six games. Out of the last six matches, his team won five while one match was on par. But the situation will be different on Saturday. On Saturday, there will be two AC teams whose ideology and style of play are one.
Lobera is careful about this and is preparing with this two attention. Also Lobera stated that Hugo Boumos is fit and his team has no injury problems before Saturday’s match.
Meanwhile, the Kerala Blasters, looking to be a relatively improved team from their last three matches, are also ready for this match. This team has scored five goals in the last three matches. Coach Kibu Vikuna would now like to break the club’s losing streak against Lobera.
Vikuna said, he is a good team of good players. This team is playing well and is one of the best teams in the ISL right now. We are improving and I am happy that we are practicing in a very positive way.
