Marcos Rojo wants to come to Boca Juniors

Buenos Aires, 5 January (IANS). Defender Marcos Rojo, who plays for English Premier League club Manchester United, wants to play for the legendary club Boca Juniors in Buenos Aires.

His contract with Man U expires in June and if the deal is not renewed, it would mean that he could join his favorite club as a free agent.

Boca Juniors officials recently met the 30-year-old defender’s agent, according to Ole News. This meeting was only in relation to the new agreement.

Rojo, however, is also receiving offers from Premier League clubs Sheffield United and Newcastle United.

Rojo, who has played 61 times for Argentina, has played 122 matches since his contract for Man U in 2014. He arrived in Manchester from Sporting Lisbon.
