England’s women’s cricket team will visit Pakistan for the first time

London, 7 January (IANS). England’s women’s cricket team will tour Pakistan for the first time in October this year, where they will play two T20s and a three-match ODI series.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said in a statement on Thursday that this would be the first Pakistan tour of England women’s team captained by Heater Knight. The England women’s team will play a two-match T20 series at the National Stadium in Karachi on 14 and 15 October.

After this, she will also play a three-match ODI series on October 18, 20 and 22 in the same stadium.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) CEO Wasim Khan said that the ODI series will give Pakistan’s women’s team a chance to test their women’s World Cup 2022 preparations, as they aim to perform better than in the past.
