East Bengal would like to continue the winning order

Vasco (Goa), 6 January (IANS). The new year has brought relief to the faces of the SC East Bengal team. Playing for the first time in the Hero Indian Super League (ISL), the team finally got victory after all the efforts in the seventh season.

The Kolkata-based team, which beat Odisha FC to open its winning account, will face host FC Goa at the Tilak ground in Vasco today, which could prove to be a tough opponent for them.

Both teams will be face to face for the first time in the ISL. Both of them are completely opposite in terms of score table. East Bengal has moved up from their bottom to second place with their only win, while Goa has moved up to third place thanks to wins against Jamshedpur and Hyderabad.

FC Goa, popularly known as Gaurs, will field a win contender but will have to be wary of East Bengal as they have got a taste of victory and that is why Robbie Faller’s team will not want to let their mouth get bitter again.

It is not that only East Bengal have struggled in this season. East Bengal where they could not get a single clean sheet, while the Goa team could do it only once despite the attacking football. There is another similarity between the two teams and that is that both have scored many goals in the final minutes.
