BCCI has given a big blow to former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh. Yuvraj Syed Mushtaq Ali, who retired last year, wanted to play the T20 Trophy tournament, but the BCCI did not allow him to return from retirement. According to reports, Yuvraj Singh did not get approval from BCCI to return from retirement. He wanted to represent Punjab. Now Mandeep Singh will lead Punjab in this tournament.
Punjab did not choose Yuvraj in his team for this tournament starting on 10 January. The BCCI did not approve of his selection in the state team. Yuvraj was also seen practicing at Mohali’s stadium last week.
BCCI gave a blow
Punjab Cricket Association secretary Punit Bali also appealed to Yuvraj to come back from retirement and join the Punjab team. Yuvi was also selected in the 30-member squad of Punjab for the Syed Mushkaq tournament, but the selection committee did not give him a place in the 20-member team.
Fans were excited to see him again on the field, but his fans have also suffered a big setback if they are not cleared by the BCCI. The Syed Muskat tournament will begin on January 10 and the title match will be played on January 31.

Yuvraj wanted to play after retirement
